Anna (she/her) opens up a warm and welcoming space for people to reflect on their experiences and explore their difficulties, challenges, and joys together. She takes a person-centred approach to working with clients, listening deeply and with compassion, and draws on a variety of therapeutic models to see what might work best for each person. Anna is particularly interested in Internal Family Systems and creative approaches to working — but mostly, she is interested in people. This comes in part from her background in journalism — she brings a love for hearing people's stories, an awareness of how social and systemic factors affect individuals, and a deep sense of appreciation for the creative ways people survive and grow, even in impossible circumstances.

Before starting her learning at Manukau Institute of Technology, Frances’s career path was in accounting and finance management where listening and supporting people were key to their success in the team. Disability brought forward the need for Frances to train for a new career that utilises her natural abilities, empathy, and passion.
Frances has always had a passion to support people in need. Her humanistic foundation has deepened the importance of supporting others to rediscover their own abilities and skills to manoeuvre through any impasse they may come to.
Frances has a deep interest in working alongside people who have experienced trauma, problems with interpersonal relationships, grief, and difficult life changes that limit their potential and well-being.
As a Mum of two children, 22 and 12, Frances has personal experience with ADHD and child learning difficulties with her younger son. Despite these little speed bumps, she cherishes the young woman her daughter has become and the wonderful young person her son is becoming.
