Is there a minimum amount that can be gifted?

Any gift, no matter how small or large will help fund our life-changing work; providing support and tools so families are stronger and more equipped to navigate challenges in their lives.
How can I include Wingspan in my Will?
There are three types of gifts you can include in your Will:
- A residuary gift - this is a share of what remains of your estate once your other wishes have been carried out.
- A pecuniary gift - this is a financial donation of a fixed amount.
- A specific gift - this is a possession or item such as jewellery, property, or shares.
Your solicitor can advise you on the best approach.
How will Wingspan use my gift?

Unless specified by you, we will use your gift where the need is greatest to continue our work to provide professional counselling services and support for people at their most vulnerable.
What if I already have a Will?

You can amend an existing Will to include Wingspan by asking a solicitor to draw up a ‘codicil’. We can supply you with a template to help you outline your request.
Can my gift be anonymous?

If you have decided to leave Wingspan a gift in your Will, please let us know so we can thank you and welcome you into the Wingspan extended family.

There are some generous donors and families who do choose to remain anonymous - which we respect. Your solicitor will be best to advise you on how to achieve this.
What if I change my mind about leaving a gift?

You can revoke (cancel, change or add to) your Will at any time during your lifetime, as long as you are legally deemed ‘still of sound mind’.
