Due to increased levels of demand, Wingspan is temporarily closing our waitlist as of 15 May 2025. This does not impact people referred under a contract (i.e. through an EAP programme, the IBD Programme, or through Te Puna Manawa). If you would like to refer someone or yourself under a contract, please contact us via hello@wingspan.org.nz, or ring Central reception on 09 630 8961, or North Shore reception on 09 419 9853. If you or someone you know is in danger, please phone 111 and ask for the Police or call the Mental Health Crisis Team (0800 800 717). Alternatively, text 1737 to access confidential and free 24-hour support.

Wingspan (formerly Home & Family Counselling) is a registered charitable trust that is on a mission to achieve better mind health for everyone, regardless of their personal circumstances. We're here to create a safe, non-judgmental respectful space to support people face their challenges and help them find a way through.

We are a small, yet diverse and collaborative team (approx. 24 staff) who support each other, and care deeply about the well-being of Aucklanders and their families.  

 

We have two Auckland counselling centers in Central Auckland (Eden Terrace) and North Shore (Northcote) that offer short to medium-term counselling services. 

 

Wingspan is not affiliated with any religious group - we welcome everyone and see diversity as a strength.
